The American who bought a piece of Bâtard Montrachet

American winemaker Alex Gambal became the first and one of the only foreigners to buy a piece of the Bâtard Montrachet vineyard in Burgundy. In this video, Alex describes how fragmented the parcels are in the area and describes what it is like to own and farm land in this region. Maison Alex Gambal produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from these plots.
