This is step by step recipe on how to make wine pouched pear wrapped in puff pastry.

Pears + puff pastry + red wine & chocolate. Easy pear dessert recipe with puff pastry.

Ingredients:

Pears – 4 pcs
Water – 2 cups
Lemon – 1/2
Cinnamon stick – 1
Brown sugar – ¼ cup
Red wine – 1 1/2 cup
Cloves – 7
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Honey – 3 tbsp
Puff pastry – 1 sheet
Egg – 1 ( to make egg white )
Chocolate and or berries – for stuffing.

Peel and core the pears from the bottom.
In a medium saucepan add water, half of lemon, red wine, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon stick, cloves and vanilla extract. Place the pears in the liquid and seamer for about 10 min. Allow pears to cool completely so puff pastry could be easily attached.
Roll a sheet of puff pastry with a rolling pin and cut out 2.5 inch circles. Cut remaining dough into 1 inch width strips.
Stuff each pear with chopped chocolate and or berries and place a circle of puff pastry on the bottom of the pear to cover the stuffing. Using puff pastry strips wrap them around the pair. Place pears on the baking sheet and store in the fridge for 15-30 min.
Before baking, brush pastries with egg wash and bake for 25-30 min at 400°F or until dough becomes golden grown.
