Ever wanted to brew a fancy wine that drinks like a mead? We’ll show you our easy method for achieving the best of both worlds by converting this merlot wine kit into a high class, but accessible, pyment! Using both orange blossom and buckwheat honey, we create a flavor profile that complements and balances the red wine juice. We used Fermaid-O as a nutrient in this pyment, but you could easily use DAP or other nutrients to get it there as well. But a rigid, staggered nutrient addition schedule is key to success! It is wonderful at 4-5 months, but will be much better in about a year’s time. We hope you enjoy this grape-forward honey wine at nearly 15% ABV!
